About us:
This site was set up to record the many places that Marc and I have travelled. Named after Boris one of our motorhomes, we hope that in the future one of our grandchildren will follow in our footsteps. We both love to travel, experiencing the cultures and traditions of other countries and areas and especially the food! I have a deep passion about history, architecture and engineering marvels such at The Millau Bridge, The Strepy-Thieu Boat Lift, The Passerelles Monteyard and natural wonders such a mountains, lakes and wildlife. Marc is a big foodie and it is easy to blame him for all the delicious cakes and pastries we try on our travels but he readily says to anyone who asks "I didn't eat deserts and cakes until I met Penny". Our dogs Molly and Freddie enjoyed many travels with us, enjoying bits of the food, walking many miles and Freddie especially loved the beach. Unfortunately time moves on and in 2022 we lost Molly and then in 2023 Freddie. We now have Sidney and Reggie and are looking forward to making new memories with these two characters.Places we have been
